2010 Projects
What I’ve completed in 2010…

Ribbed Socks for Michael in Cascade Heritage Paints, colorway 9922. I sort of made up the pattern as I went along.

Toe-Up Socks for myself in handspun two-ply BFL, using Wendy’s Generic Toe-Up Sock Pattern, but again substituting a figure-eight toe. This is the first time I’ve knit with my own handspun yarn!

The Baby Bunny Hat for my swornbrother’s niece in Plymouth Yarn “Sweet Caroline”, using the free pattern that I got from the yarn store when I bought the yarn.

Sibling Socks for myself in Trekking XXL, modeled after the larger Bloo socks that I made. With two sizes knit up, I wrote out the pattern and set it free for everyone to enjoy. This is the first sock pattern that I’ve published, and I’m quite proud of it!

A pointy Gnome Hat for Otel and Riya’s baby girl, knit in Cascade Fixation. They both wear pointy hats in the SCA, and I thought it would be cute and funny to make a pointy hat for the baby. The pattern is available for free on Ravelry.

Matching booties for Otel and Riya’s baby girl. I probably have enough Cascade Fixation left to make another pair of booties. The pattern is available for free.

Cakewalk Socks for Mom, by special request. The pattern is my own and it is available for free!

A plain grey hat for Dad’s Chanukah gift, by special request. The formula is available for free; this is the fifth hat I’ve made from this pattern!

Brown tweed Paraphernalia socks for Pirate-Husband, a secret surprise gift that he wasn’t really expecting at all. The pattern is available as a free download from Ravelry.
[...] are the things I knit this year! Five pairs of socks, three of which were gifts. One pair was made from my very own handspun yarn. [...]
